Drones made in the US - A look at Freefly Systems
Since 2013, Freefly has been designing and creating drone systems and camera gimbals made in Woodinville, Washington. Quadrocopter has worked closed with them since then, exclusively selling their Cinestar line. In 2014 they joined forces at NAB in Las Vegas, to show the world a look at the first Movi, a 3 axis stabilized camera gimbal that would fly on a Cinestar drone platform. The Cinestar was the evolution in professional heavy lift multi-rotor helicopters, in 2013. Drawing on vast experience in the areas of professional aerial cinematography, engineering and manufacturing, Quadrocopter and Freefly Systems collaborated to create the ultimate aerial platform for the times.
